Filed under: Arizona Cardinals, NFC West
Judging by the amount of booing that took place Sunday in Glendale, Ariz., in the Arizona Cardinals' 36-18 loss to Seattle, there could be changes in the offing for the Cardinals. But listening to Arizona coach Ken Whisenhunt talk Monday in his press briefing, it seems nothing like that is contemplated.
He said suggestions of making changes among his assistants are "fair,'' but also said they aren't in the pipeline.
"I really haven't (considered staff changes),'' Whisenhunt said. "Our guys have been working very hard. They feel as bad as everyone. We have a competitive staff that have shown they can do a great job. I don't believe in (coaching changes), especially not in-season. We are going to try and put our players in position to be successful.''
The Cardinals have lost four games in succession, however, and at 3-6 Arizona is in danger of falling out of the NFC West race, something that's tough to do considering how mediocre the division is.
