Lindsay Lohan: Going Vegetarian?

It?s no secret that she?s hard up for cash, and Lindsay Lohan may forgo meat to earn $50,000 from the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

PETA has reportedly offered to pay off $50k of Lilo?s estimated $150,000 rehab bill at the Betty Ford clinic, which is a good thing since she doesn?t have a source of income at the moment.

An insider told press, "Lindsay is seriously considering the offer from PETA. There is thoughtful consideration about PETA's very generous offer. Lindsay loves animals, and looks at it as a 'win-win' since being a vegetarian is a healthier lifestyle that she is striving for."

"Lindsay is making arrangements to make payments to the Betty Ford Center to pay for her bill. Betty Ford does work with patients who have financial problems and are unable to pay the bill in full. This is a very common practice of Betty. Lindsay realizes that Betty Ford is giving her an opportunity and essentially taking a chance on her, given her past track record,"

Additionally, Miss Lohan makes fun of her money problems in a new Funny or Die video to promote the American Jewish World Service.
