And that means the Jacksonville Jaguars should have their starting quarterback back in the lineup on Sunday.
Garrard, the Jacksonville Jaguars' starting quarterback, passed a post-concussion baseline test on Tuesday morning, according to Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union, and he is expected to play against the Dallas Cowboys Sunday.
Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said Monday if Garrard cleared the test he would start against Dallas.
Garrard, the Jaguars' starter in the first six games of the season, sustained a concussion against the Tennessee Titans on October 18, setting in motion a week of uncertainty around the Jaguars' quarterback position.
With Garrard out, backup Trent Edwards sustained a thumb injury against the Titans, and he also was unavailable to play against the Chiefs. The Jaguars also signed veteran Patrick Ramsey he week of the Chiefs game, but he did not start of play.
